Monorail system with drying buffer and end drop section at Van der Ende Groep
Last week Railtechniek van Herwijnen delivered a monorail system with a drying buffer and an end drop section. This system ensures that the pumps can be moved easily, allowing them to be sprayed in a high speed sequence.
Van der Ende is located in Maasdijk (The Netherlands) and produces and supplies technical products in the field of water technology, air treatment and industrial filtration technology. In order to increase the production of pumps and accessories Van der Ende called in the help of Railtechniek van Herwijnen.
The system that has been delivered contains a monorail 240.000 with an end drop section. The system uses 50 trolleys, each of which can transport a weight of 250 kg. The pumps are hung into the system by means of a hoist. Next these can be driven in front of the two spray walls. After the spraying process, the products are hung in the drying buffer, after which they are unloaded by the end drop section. As the end drop section is located next to the drying buffer and explosive gases can be released when the paints are cured, an Atex 2 hoist was chosen.
